The health promoting powers of Guduchi were so respected by the Acharyas of Ayurveda that they also named it as ‘Amrita’ i.e the divine nectar. Owing to its immense benefits Acharya Charaka has quoted it under Agrya Dravyas(principal drugs). He also identified it as one of the best Medhya Rasayana (brain tonic).As a rejuvenator, Guduchi strengthens the tissues, boosts immunity and promotes vitality while calming the mind and supporting proper function of the nervous system. It is also traditionally used to promote longevity and to support healthy reproduction.
